    Membership

    A large portion of our donations come from the generous support of our members. Becoming a member has many benifits and makes you eligible for nomination to our governing Board of Trustees.

Bridging the Gap

KLF is an independent Charity supported by The Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of BC & Yukon.

The budgets allocated by the Provincial and Area Health Authorities are not adequate to provide many of the smaller pieces of medical equipment essential to effective medical services. KLF helps to bridge that gap by awarding grants for missing equipment.

Over the past 50 years, KLF has granted over $500,000 to 50+ hospitals throughout the region for the purchase of small but essential medical equipment, such as:

  • Helping patients relax and be more comfortable in a stressful situation

  • Providing an extra bed for use in crowded hospitals

  • Making moving patients safer for nursing staff

  • Essential for ensuring close monitoring of seriously ill patients

  • Essential equipment for all hospitals
